Statements Salon in Glendale, already contributing cut hair to build booms for oil collection in the Gulf, announces “Looking Slick,” a special event to collect much-needed pantyhose for making booms, to be held on Sunday, June 27. Statements owner Pam Brooks, who throughout the year donates 15% of every $10 earned to local charities, is raising awareness, monetary donations and collecting pantyhose for the international ecological non-profit Matter of Trust. By donating clean, used or new pantyhose or a monetary contribution, donors receive deep discounts on haircuts and other services:
Haircuts - $15 for women; $10 for men $8 for children
Polish Changes - $5
Massages - $1.00 p/minute
