Sealed bids will be received by the Village Administrator of the Village of Glendale, Hamilton County, State of Ohio at the Village Office, 30 Village Square, Glendale, Ohio 45246 (1-513-771-7200) until 12:00 noon on Friday, July 16, 2010 for a 1980 Peter Pirsch Fire Engine, black in color, featuring a 6 person enclosed cab, 5 speed manual transmission, 1,250 GPM Hale Fire Pump, warning lights, and siren included with unit. This vehicle was subject to maintenance and service program since time of purchase to present, was continuously garaged, and will become available to the successful bidder after July 23, 2010. Each bid must contain the name of each interested party and must be accompanied by a certified check drawn on a solvent bank in the amount of $100 as a refundable guarantee of intent. This vehicle is being sold “as is” to the highest sealed bidder. The vehicle may be viewed in the apparatus room of the Glendale Fire Department, 80 E. Sharon Avenue (app
ointment only; please call 771-7864 or 771-7200). The vehicles modern firefighting equipment will be retained by the Village and removed from said vehicle prior to sale. The minimal bid amount is $3,500 and the Village of Glendale reserves the right to reject any and or all bids.
